Top Ten Subluxation References

I've received several requests for a list of subluxation related references. I've spent the last 12 or 13 years digging around for such a list and have yet to find everything in one place, hence my excitement about the potential for JVSR.

A complete itemized list of references would entail a fairly major research project, so I came up with a Top Ten List to at least get you started. The point is not just the article or the book itself, but if you track these down they each contain excellent references which open you up to more references and then if you go to those... well, you get the point.

10. Conference Proceedings on The Research Status of Spinal Manipulative Therapy. National Institutes of Health.

9. Rydevik, B.L.: The Effects of Compression on the Physiology of Nerve Roots. JMPT Vol. 15 No. 1 January 1992.

8. Neurodynamics of the Vertebral Subluxation by E.A. Homewood

7. The Chiropractic Theories by Robert Leach. Published by Williams and Wilkins.

6. Foundations of Chiropractic: Subluxation by Meridel Gatterman. Published by Mosby.

5. Atlas of Common Subluxations of the Human Spine and Pelvis by William Ruch. http://www.postura.com
Published by CRC Press. Boca Raton Florida.

3. Clincial Practice Guideline Number One: Vertebral Subluxation in Chiropractic Practice. The Council on Chiropractic Practice. Chandler, Arizona.

2. Boone, W.R., Dobson, G. A Proposed Vertebral Subluxation Model Reflecting Traditional Concepts and Recent Advances in Health and Science: Parts I, II and III. Journal of Vertebral Subluxation Research Vol. 1 No's. 1, 2 and 3.

And the number one reference regarding vertebral subluxation is:

1. Kent, C.: Models of Vertebral Subluxation. Journal of Vertebral Subluxation Research. Vol. 1 No. 1. August 1996.

I'd love to hear your Top Ten List of subluxation references or even just your number one reference - please pass it on. As always, I look forward to your feedback, comments and suggestions.
