JVSR Research Update - March 27, 2002Reader ResponseI cannot believe JVSR has added credibility to such a ludicrous
thought. In the cited article the following comment was omitted: Richard L. Cole, DC
Greetings Dr McCoy, I read with interest your message regarding AIDS. Last year I read a
book called "The AIDS Myth" by Phillip Day. Perhaps you have read it too?
It was quite an experience for me. As a chiropractor I see everyday the
myth of modern medicine being re-enacted as people go to medical doctors
hoping to become well and in fact becoming more sick. I am also poignantly
aware of the fact that the state supports medicine which actively destroys
health while it offers no support to chiropractic or chiropractic patients
who, as a result of regular adjustments, no longer use the medical system
while still paying for it through their taxation. But when I read the book on AIDS I was totally blown away. It was a
much bigger and much deeper level of indifference to the destruction of
others for the sake of power and profit than I had really imagined
possible for humanity. Since that time, I have spoken even more directly
to my patients and to others about what true health is, where it comes
from and where it does not, than ever before. I have realized that the
only way that the truth will be revealed is by individuals speaking what
they truly believe and not hiding their truth under some layers of social
acceptability. Thank you for drawing the attention of our profession to this
disgraceful fabrication. I hope that it can be transformed to be as
empowering for others as it has been for myself. Yours in Chiropractic, Is this the same line of thought that insists the Nazi holocaust never
existed, that no man ever really walked on the moon, and (going way back),
that the earth is flat? If you have ever known someone who is HIV positive
or who has AIDS,you know it was not "invented." This discussion not worthy
of a serious journal.
